Using this multi-pronged approach of integrative treatment with evidence-based nutrition therapy, Rikky helps clients improve mental health – holistically. This means without medications*, expensive supplements, complicated meal plans or restrictive diets.

    COACHING PROGRAM FAQ

    Why are all sessions 1 hour? Can I request a shorter appointment? Is it cheaper for shorter appointments?

    A lot can change between appointments. All coaching sessions are 1 hour in duration to allow a thorough assessment of lifestyle changes, dietary changes, stress, exercise etc. In these sessions, we also cover mindfulness and yoga strategies (including demonstrations and practice time where required) to cover all bases for reaching your health goals.

    Is this an online program or conducted face-to-face?

    Coaching sessions can be conducted both face-to-face in our Underwood studio or online via Zoom – depending on your personal preference. 

    Online sessions can be recorded for you to receive a playback for your records.

    Other components of the program (e.g. email/chat support, client portal) are online.

    I have a Medicare card. Are nutrition consultations covered?

    Dietetic services are only covered by Medicare if you have a valid Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) or Chronic Disease Management Plan from your doctor. Please check with your doctor to see if you’re eligible.

    Clients with a valid care plan may be eligible for rebates for up to 5 dietetic consultations per calendar year. This number may vary depending on how many consultations your doctor has allocated to dietetics. Please check with your doctor if you’re unsure. Rebates will be processed after each coaching session.

    How do I claim private health rebates?

    Private health rebates are available for face-to-face and Telehealth sessions if dietetics is included in your insurance policy. A receipt will be provided for you to take to your private health fund after each coaching session.

    How much can I claim from private health?

    The amount you can claim depends on your own individual policy and extras cover. Unfortunately we do not have the facilities to check the exact amount. Please contact your private health fund directly. 

    What if I need to cancel or reschedule an appointment?

    We understand that sometimes life gets in the way and appointments need to be cancelled or rescheduled. However, to ensure fairness to other clients, a strict cancellation policy applies. Cancellations must be made with at least 24 hours’ notice. Bookings cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice will result in forfeiting the session credit.  

    All terms and conditions relating to fees and cancellation policies are outlined in the Coaching Client Contract.

    Do I need to bring anything to appointments?

    If you have an EPC or Chronic Disease Management Plan, please bring that as well as any other supporting documents (e.g. doctors letters, latest blood test report) to your first appointment. 

    Apart from that, bring a smile, an open mind and any questions you have!
